"Blink and you'll miss it but this is such a local gem for Spring Lake! The burnt ends were fantastic! So tender and flavorful. Brisket was lean and still tender. The staff were sweet and helpful explaining the menu. I'll definitely stop in next time for their BBQ tacos. Definitely recommend!"

"** 5-Star Review for Noble Meats - Spring Lake, NC** I recently ordered from Noble Meats for a day-after-Thanksgiving gathering, and I couldn't have been more impressed. We had family traveling through the area, and since our home is on the smaller side, cooking for a big group just wasn't realistic. We decided to give Noble Meats a try--and wow, did they deliver. We ordered baby back ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and a whole chicken, and *every single item* was outstanding. The ribs were tender, the brisket was perfectly smoked, the pulled pork was full of flavor, and the whole chicken was incredibly juicy. Everyone in the family loved it. We were actually worried that we had ordered too much food, but there wasn't much left the next day--which says everything. Thankfully, there *were* a few leftovers, and they were just as delicious when I got to enjoy them again. I felt compelled to write this because it's rare to come across a business that impresses you this much. Noble Meats made our gathering easier, better, and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the great food and great service--you've definitely earned a loyal customer."

"Solid NC BBQ. Great historic little spot. Mood and environment are memorable. Pro: - diverse cuts - great BBQ sauce - great sides (amazing baked beans and Mac and cheese) - great taste Cons: - depending on when you eat or how long the meat I sitting, some pieces were a little tuff - coleslaw needs more mayo - parking can be difficult on busy times - price"

"Another local BBQ restaurant's owner actually recommended we try this place, which should tell you something. The owner and staff are wonderful and provide the excellent and friendly service you'd expect in a small-town, southern restaurant. They have a lot of meats to choose from but we had the pulled pork and the burnt ends. The pulled pork is not eastern NC style, and comes with a thick, sweet sauce. Without the sauce, it was a bit dry, although this may be because we got there right before they closed. The burnt ends are the best I've had in the state. For sides, we got red slaw and new potatoes. Both were excellent. Overall I definitely recommend coming here whenever you're in the area. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other meats and sides."

"This is the local butcher that everyone visits! It's a hot spot for the military but also anyone who wants clean and well cut meats. They have packages that you can get for meats - chicken, pork, cow! They sell a few spices as well in case you need to cook with it. Also, you can order food and it's never disappointed!! I'm unsure if their lobby is open to sit down and eat, but their food is just incredible! My family has been going here for ten years! Absolutely incredible service!!! I will always HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!!! Great cut meats and great food!!!!"

"Considering I'm from NC I would have expected it to be better than it was. It was lacking in a few areas. The chicken was a lil under cooked in my opinion and lacked flavor. BBQ sauce was given to add on top. The baked beans were good, and the mac-n-cheese wasn't bad but was a lil dry or in need of a lil more cheese. The ribs were quoted at the wrong price by the cashier per bone but no biggie. The ribs were tender but lacked the true bbq/grill taste and were flavorless. The BBQ is not good at all and was dry. It's not a bad place to come and grab a bite to eat and the brisket and burnt ends seem to be popular but it's a place I would not come to often based off of the taste. The staff was nice and friendly as always."

"Very delicious place to eat. We showed up for lunch on a Saturday around 11:30 because I kept hearing how good their burnt ends are. They weren't ready so I ordered a brisket plate. The brisket wasn't ready either so I got a pulled chicken plate which was definitely very good. I was a little disappointed to not get the burnt ends but that just gives me an excuse to come back. Besides that it would definitely be a 5 stars. The baked beans are also really good. They have a lot of cuts of meats they sell which all look great. When I go back for the burnt ends I'll get a tomahawk steak and some brats."
